Arttd’inox 3D Challenge is a design competition conceptualized by JSL Lifestyle Ltd. It is an opportunity for young and aspiring architects and design students to contribute in a real-life scenario with their creativity which inspires through a meaningful product design that enhances a consumer’s lifestyle. The competition aims to provide students with a once in a lifetime opportunity to acquire industry-wide recognition, strengthening their capabilities and portfolio.

- The entrant must be a student enrolled in a Design course (at an accredited college/university in India). To be eligible for the competition, entrants should be at least 18 years old.
- No team registrations are allowed in this category, this is an individual submission category.
As participants, we expect you to innovate with stainless steel to create a range of distinctive products. The collection should be effortlessly chic and respond to the creative vision that Arttd’inox has, to weave form and function, classic with the contemporary that appeals to connoisseurs of delicate and elegant artefacts. Arttd’inox 3D Challenge 2.0 allows students to come up with fresh Homeware designs that excel in functionality and aesthetics.
The participants need to design a homeware collection in stainless steel. The collection should include a collection of minimum five pieces with packaging.
Students are free to choose out of the following categories:
- Home Décor
- Serve Ware
- Bare Ware
- Kids Ware
The core material for designing the products should be stainless steel. Other materials can be used in combination with stainless steel but should be well justified in their concept note.
Design prompt that specifies the type and purpose of stainless steel Homeware collection + packaging (Collection: – Barware, Kids Ware, Home Decor, Serve Ware)
- The participants should send-
-Technical drawings with plans
-Section details and design
-3D Renderings and Visualizations
-A material and finish board
-A mood board with images and a material legend/ label for each product
- Design statements should be typed entries (maximum 3,000 characters) to provide background information about their design with:
-A name for their design collection and inspiration
-Hypothetical client/target audience
-Objectives and project overview
-Design Salient features (usage/ Accessibility/problem-solving etc.)
- Participants are required to submit their designs individually.
